ABSTRACTED REALITY
LES INCONNUS
DRAWN FROM THE SHADOWS OF EARLY 80’s AVANT-GARDE.
Drawn from the early dawn the 1980’s, ‘Abstracted Reality’ is an homage to the faces and figures that decorated Parisian nights at Le Palace.
-
Their collective symposium evening after evening; an era decadent and storied for its unique mix of personal styles.
In ‘Abstracted Reality’ there’s an awareness for colors and materials in respect to their chromatic interactions.
German Bauhaus artist, Josef Albers summarized this in his work Geometric Abstractionism, paintings where simple lines and shapes become greater than just lines and shapes.
This abstracted vision materializes in the style of David Bowie as he undoubtedly propelled fashion and the art of evening dressing to a pinnacle with his original takes in accessorization.
Resort ‘20 is poised for Parisian nights insolite and inédites- the kind where one stares before their wardrobe and asks themselves:
“who do I want to be tonight?”
